VERY BALANCED WINES WITH GOOD AGEING POTENTIAL

A generous harvest

The winter was quite mild. In the spring, temperatures were higher than normal.
Despite occasional negative temperatures at night, April was hot and sunny. But a few episodes of frost did cause some damage, mainly in the Chablis area.
In May and June, there were good weather conditions but hailstorms at the end of June and the beginning of July caused varying levels of damage across the entire vineyard.
Lower temperatures than normal were noted for the rest of the summer, as well as a lot of rainfall. The fine weather returned in September with considerable sunshine.
