A contemporary take on Crémants de Bourgogne
Chartron et Trébuchet, a historic name among the great white wines of Bourgogne, brings you two Crémants de Bourgogne made exclusively from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties. The Chartron et Trébuchet Crémants, vinified to the demanding standards of a great wine, are made from plots selected for their typicity and their aromatic richness.
Location
The grapes, carefully selected for making Crémant de Bourgogne, are sourced in the main in the Beaujolais, on the Côte Chalonnaise and in Épineuil.
Terroir
The soils are granitic in nature, with schist and seams of clay in the Beaujolais, limestone and marl on the Côte Chalonnaise and Kimmeridgian clay and limestone in the Épineuil area.
History
Established in the heart of the Golden Triangle in the Côte de Beaune, Chartron et Trébuchet has embodied the magnificence of the great Bourgogne Chardonnays since 1984. Today, it develops complex, aromatic, intense vintages that express the purity of the terroirs of Bourgogne in a fresh take on classicism and is extending its expertise into Crémants de Bourgogne.
